Who’ll look after your pet
Dr. James Bennett BSc(Hons) BVetMed(Hons) OV GPCert(Feline Practice) PGCert(Small Animal Surgery) MRCVS
James is the Consultant Head Surgeon for the Petcare group and works at our Chiswick branch. He holds a certificate in surgery, being one of only a few surgeons in London to do so, and takes referrals from all of our clinics. He also holds a certificate in feline practice and is an experienced ultrasonographer. He manages surgical, medical and cardiology cases for his clients from the Chiswick branch and other branches alike.
James is happiest when he successfully signs off a difficult case, turning a sick patient into a happy pet.
James lives with his wife and children in a household busy with cats and dogs.

Dr. Clare Lissmann BVSC MRCVS PGCertCABC LVI
Clare’s interests span many aspects of medicine and surgery including behaviour, dermatology and dentistry, but essential to her is spending time with her clients and providing support and help at the difficult times when their animals are unwell.
Clare lives in Hampshire with her husband, two young sons and a hand-reared kitten called Mumble.
Kelly Randall BSc (Hons) RVN
Kelly is our Head Nurse and enjoys all aspects of nursing but has a particular interest in behaviour, Anaesthesia and critical care. Kelly is Clinical Coach at Petcare so is responsible for training the nursing team. She also runs our nurse clinics and is available daily for consultations for most aspects of routine health care.
Kelly and her husband have two rescue cats, Sharky and George.
Anais recently spent 6 months in the laboratory department at the Blue Cross Victoria hospital, and has developed a keen interest in this area as well as Surgical nursing.
Anais lives in west London with her boyfriend and her cheeky cat Chino.
Rute Da Silva
Rute has a level 3 diploma in animal management and has a particular interest in exotics.
She lives with her daughter, a pet Hamster called Hallie, and a goldfish called Nemo.
Lara Waterson BA (Hons)
Lara joined PetCare in December 2005 as the Practice Manager.
Just as the veterinary staff take care of the animals, her role is to take care of the expanding number of practices, ensuring all our clients receive the best possible service and their pets receive the highest standards of care available.
Lara is always interested in hearing your feedback as we constantly look to improve our service to you and your pets. She also loves to sneak a few strokes and cuddles with your pets whenever she can!
Lara lives in Surrey with her husband and her very spoilt cat, Hobbes.
